The 2012 SPE Bergen Lutefisk will be on November 29th, at Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Bryggen, Bergen.
| The annual SPE Bergen Lutefisk is a must for the active member who enjoys networking
with colleagues and peers in an unformal setting. The event starts at 1800.
On the menu is lutefisk with all the appropriate extras, Norwegian cousine at its best. |
 I am fairly liberal, I gladly eat worms and insects, but I draw the line on lutefisk.

Dinner speech
Statoil og Norsk Petroleumsvirksomhet gjennom 40 år*
Njål Gjedrem is a native of the island Finnøy near Stavanger, and has a degree
in political science from the University of Bergen. He has seen the world through
many different jobs. He spent 15 years in the human resources and organisation
field, and has spent periods in Baku, London, Moscow and Washington. In the early
1990's, Njål was Head of the Harstad office in Northern Norway, when development
of the Snøhvit field was high on the agenda. He has been in charge of government
relations for StatoilHydro in Washington, and is now a Special Advisor within
Norwegian Political Affairs in Statoil.
Njål has been with Statoil for 36 years.
*) The dinner speech at the SPE Bergen Lutefisk will according to tradition be
held in Norwegian. However, slides will be in English. |
