Reserve Housing by 15 July to Guarantee Rate and Availability

SPE and its housing company, Newtours, have reserved space in the best hotels in Florence -- offering a variety of prices, star ratings, and proximity to the conference venue. Learn more about the hotels we identified for you.

ATCE will be held during a peak travel month in Florence, so we want to ensure that you do not have difficulty finding a hotel.

We encourage you to register and reserve housing online by 15 July.

Newtours will continue to assist attendees with housing after this deadline; however, the group rate will not apply and your choice of hotels will diminish.

Things to Know About ATCE 2010

As you make your travel plans for ATCE, please note the following:
  • The technical sessions will start later in the morning.
  • The opening ceremony will be held on Monday morning instead of a welcome reception on Sunday evening.
  • SPE will not mail registration badges in advance of the conference. Please schedule time to obtain your materials when you arrive in Florence.
  • Florence is a walking city, with most hotels within a 10-minute walk to the conference venue. As such, SPE will not provide shuttle bus service to/from the venue and official hotels. View maps online to find a hotel near the venue.
  • SPE training courses will be held on the Thursday and Friday after ATCE.
